Characteristics of TP53 and CTNNB1 Mutation According to the Serum Tumor Markers in Hepatocellular Carcinoma

Introduction: AFP, AFP-L3 DCP are useful biomarkers of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). However, association between molecular characteristics and serum has not fully evaluated yet. We analyzed RNA expression DNA mutation from TCGA-LIHC data in conjunction with clinical data. Method: Genetic were retrieved portal TCGA. Among total sample 371, we selected 91 samples which could measure using preoperatively obtained frozen stored serum. Integrative analysis those patients focused on biomarker performed, validated remaining cohort 280 patients. Results: Patients divided into 4 subgroups; elevated AFP or alone (AFP & L3), (DCP), all 3 (All) normal tumor marker (Normal) based genetic characteristics. CTNNB1 was related to low level. It frequently found Normal group, but group showed significant poor survival than group. TP53 associated had different activating pathway according that dominant cell cycle arrest AFP&L3 while editing repair function Conclusion: Serum helpful predict profile HCC, especially mutations. These oriented finding is HCC it may lead more rational, targeted approach treatment easily.
